GET READY TO PLANT A SEED AND READ!
All ages are welcome to join our Summer Reading Program! Log your reading and reviews from June 8 to July 27 in order to earn tickets: one for every 60 minutes read logged, and one for each review submitted. Use your tickets during the program for a chance to win prizes. All reading must be logged by July 27 at midnight.
Track registration, reading goals, and reviews digitally on the library’s Beanstack site or by using the Beanstack Tracker app on Android or iOS devices.

The C. E. Brehm Memorial Public Library District is gearing up for our 2026 Summer Reading Program with this year’s theme “Plant a Seed, Read”, encouraging readers to nourish their minds with ideas like a farm that grows food to nourish our bodies! The Summer Reading Program offers readers of all ages an opportunity to earn tickets for every hour read throughout the summer, with a chance to win prizes at the end of the program.

ALL ABOUT EAGLES

Presented by World Bird Sanctuary, All About Eagles is an amazing program with three live eagles, typically a Bald Eagle, Golden eagle and a non native like Harpy or Wedged Tail. Animal Ambassadors may vary. All ages are welcome.

FINALE BUBBLE PARTY

Bubbles Gone Bananas is a bubble experience where kids don’t just watch bubbles… They make them! Big ones. Huge ones. Bubbles so giant they can’t believe their eyes. Kids laughing, running, experimenting, and creating enormous bubbles together in one magical outdoor experience. This is a celebration party for those who were enrolled in Summer Reading.
