Story Time

Wednesday Mornings
10 AM – 11 AM

Join us for stories read aloud. We will have a fun craft/activity that goes along with our theme for the day.
For children ages 2 – 5.
There will be no Jan. kit.


Earth Day Poster Contest

April 12 – April 22
For Ages 5 – 12

Decorate an 11×14 poster board (a normal poster board size is 22×28, so you can get 2) with one of the following topics: 1) Why are trees important? 2) The importance of recycling. or 3) Any conservation topic.  Bring your poster to the library on or before April 12th. We will display them throughout the library April 12-22nd. A winner will be chosen by staff on Earth Day, April 22nd. The winner will receive an environmentally fun prize package.


Library Learners Homeschool Meet Up

Learn to utilize library resources for a successful homeschool experience. Meet fellow home educators to share ideas, triumphs, challenges, and concerns. There will be no meet up in June or July due to Summer Reading programming

Josie B’s Book Club

Children’s Entrepreneur Market:
A Farmer’s Market Ran Entirely By Kids

For Ages 6 – 12

Do you have a cool idea for a product? If so, you could be an entrepreneur.  Children can sell (almost) anything! It can be handmade, grown, store bought, food or toys. The market’s main requirement is that the kids must run the booth and be present the entire time. A limited number of spaces are available. Call 242-6322 ext. 4 to reserve a table.

Knitting and Crochet Workshop

Patrons who have taken a beginning class of crochet and/or knitting are welcome. Patrons who know how to crochet and knit are also welcome. This group is not for beginners. Patrons must have a library card in good standing. Patrons must sign up to attend.
