  • Adult Book Club

    Adults

    The Adult Book Club will meet at 10AM on the third Thursday of each month in the meeting room. Copies of the books to be discussed can be checked out at the Circulation desk on the first floor.

  • Library Game Day

    Join your library community in playing board games, card games, and role-playing games.Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.Snacks and drinks will be provided.

  • Comic Book Club with SI Comics

    Adults

    Join your fellow comic book fans and bring your favorites for discussion. New comics will also be available for discussion courtesy of SI Comics. This program is for adults.

  • Children’s Story Time

    Join us Wednesday mornings from 10 AM to 11 AM for stories read aloud. We will have a fun craft/activity that goes along with our theme for the day. Suitable for children ages 2-5.

  • Rip and Stitchers: Advanced Knitting and Crochet Workshop

    Adults

    Patrons who know how to crochet and/or knit are welcome to join this advanced workshop. This group meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 2 PM to 4 PM. Attendees must have a library card in good standing

  • Children’s Story Time

  • Junk Journaling

    Adults

    Create your very own junk journal using a variety of provided scrap and leftover materials (or bring your own materials). A journal to use as your base is provided. Each month will have a new theme. To register, call 618-242-6322,

  • Tom Emery

    General

    Author Tom Emery presents stories of Illinois in the Revolutionary War from his latest book.  This program was rescheduled from August.  All are welcome, though may be best enjoyed by an adult audience.
