SHARE Mobile Library

Our library consortium has a mobile app! The SHARE Mobile Library, created with the Solus library app platform, allows you to:
- Browse new books
- Search digital content
- Place holds
- Renew items
- View book recommendations
- Add multiple accounts, manage family checkouts
- Find your nearest SHARE-member public library

Aspen Discovery

The library catalog, powered by Aspen Discovery, enables you to enjoy a browsing experience that makes it easier than ever to find what you’re looking for.
Key features include:
- Physical and digital items show together in the same result.
- Discover readalikes and similar items.
- Checkout and place holds for digital items all in the new catalog.
- Rate items and get recommendations.

Signing In / Signing Out
Signing In
- Sign in the the Aspen Discovery catalog by selecting SIGN IN at the top-right of the page.

- Enter your Library Card Number and PIN / Password.
If you have forgotten your PIN / Password, select Reset My Password then enter your Library Card Number to reset it. If you have registered your email address with the library, you will receive an email with a token to use to reset your PIN / Password. Contact the library for help if you do not see this email or need help resetting your PIN / Password.

Signing Out
- Select the menu button at the top-right of the page, next to your account name.
- In the drop-down menu, select Sign Out at the bottom of the menu.

Viewing Account Details
Access Your Account Details
View details about your library account including current checkouts, holds, and more by selecting your name in the top right and selecting the appropriate option.


Select Your Account to bring up a summary of your account, with the total of your checkouts, holds, holds ready for pickup, and overdues

Get more info on each by making selections within the menu on the left side of the screen or through the boxes under Account Summary.
Searching
Make a Basic Search
Find titles listed within the Aspen Discovery catalog by entering terms into the Search bar. You can narrow down your results before searching by using the nearby dropdown menus to filter your searches for specific terms.

Sort Your Results
There are several ways to narrow and refine your search results, like sort your search results by title author, publication year, and more. You can also use the format icons to narrow your search results further or even choose to display results that are available now within your home library or the entire library system.

Within the search tools dropdown, select Save Search to save your search session with the Your Searches section within your account.

At the left side the screen, use the categories on the left to filter your search results even further. Multiple options can selected within the same search session.

Managing Holds
Placing a Hold
To arrange a hold request for a particular item with you home library, select the Place Hold button.

Digital Items found in CloudLibrary and Hoopla Digital can also have holds placed within Aspen Discovery in the same way.

Viewing Your Holds
All of your holds, including digital items, can be found and managed within your account details.
Managing Lists
Making a List
Items can be added to a list by selecting the Add to list button underneath an item’s details in a search result.

In the window that appears, add the item to an existing list, or create a new list. You can also add a note to the item when you add it.

Viewing Your Lists
You will find your Lists in your account details. Select the Your Lists option from your account page to view all of your available lists.
Sharing Your List
Your list can be shared with others by changing it from Private to Public. By default, all lists are private. To share your list…
- Find the list within the Your Lists section of your your account details and select the Edit button at the top of your list.

- Next to the Access toggle, select the toggle to change the list from private to public; select Update to save your changes.

- Your list is now shareable to others; copy the URL of your list to share it. Those you share your list with will see a view-only version, only the list creator can edit the list.
Importing Lists from the SHARE Catalog
Importing Your List(s)
Your list can be imported from the previous SHARE catalog within your account in Aspen Discovery:
- Log into the Aspen Discovery catalog with your Library Card number and your PIN / Password.
- Select Your Lists from your Account page.
- Select Import from Old Catalog button to import all of your lists.
